PRESCRIPTION DIETS
Laurelhurst carries a necessary array of therapeutic diets that may be prescribed for your pet. The doctors at Laurelhurst use these prescription diets as a medical treatment in your pet’s overall preventative health care plan. Remember to always consult with your veterinarian if you want to change your pet’s food or if you have concerns regarding your pet’s current diet.
We carry the dry kibble in several size bags, and wet food in small cans for cats and larger cans for dogs. The brand names we carry are: Hills, Royal Canin, Purina, and Iams/Eukanuba. Please call us ahead of time if you need to: reserve a bag or case of food to pick up at a later time; check to see if we have the food you need in stock; or if you want to special order a food we don’t regularly keep in stock (please give us 1 week to order the food and have it delivered to the hospital for you to pickup). Food orders are placed on Mondays (unless it is a holiday); Hills, Royal Canin and Iams are usually received on Tuesdays and Purina on Wednesdays.
